Ella es el Matador (She is the Matador) premieres at AFI – Discovery Channel Silverdocs June 17th 2009! Come celebrate our U.S. premiere and meet the matadors, Eva Florencia and Maripaz Vega!

Guadalajara-Mexico: nuestro primer festival
We had a great time in Guadalajara! Maripaz Vega and Koke Vega came for the premiere. Also Patricia Boero and Luis Ortiz from LPB.

Journey completed
For the last year and a half, we have been traveling back and forth between Los Angeles, San Francisco and Madrid working in the editing and postproduction of the film. It has been an amazing learning experience and we have completed this journey! Hard to believe after almost 9 years in the making! The film is done and soon it will be out in the world and you will be able to finally watch it!

Desde hace un año y medio hemos estado entre Los Angeles, San Francisco y Madrid montando la película. La fase de post producción ha sido un aprendizaje muy enriquecedor. Parecía increíble, pero hemos llegado al final de este viaje después de 9 años de trabajo. La película ya está terminada y pronto la podremos compartir con vosotros.

IFP in New York
During the IFP market we meet with a bunch of industry professionals, friends and colleagues. It was a very productive week and always fun to be in vibrant New York City. Our friends Almudena Carracedo and Rob Bahar had a very inspiring panel on Mobilizing Audiences. A week later they won an Emmy Award for their work in Made in LA.
